UFC Vegas 66 Wrap-up And Betting Guide Recap

UFC Vegas 66 Wrap-Up and Betting Recap UFC Vegas 66 was headlined by Jared Cannonier Vs. Sean Strickland. While the main event did leave a lot of action to be desired, the co-main of Arman Tarukyan Vs Damir Ismagulov was a technical masterpiece between two future title-contenders early in the rank-climb. Alex Caceres delivered a highlight reel KO of Julian Erosa right after Drew Dober and Bobby Green spilled blood and spirit for 7 minutes. Let's look at some standout fights that may go under the radar, as the main event and co-main are rightfully being talked about plenty today.  Rinat Fakhretdinov defeats Bryan Battle by unanimous decision (30-25, 30-25, 30-27)     Rinat is one of the worst fighters to face on short notice. His relentless grappling style and unique ways he chains sequences means if you don't have a camp to prepare for him, you're likely going to be treated like a seminar student. Battle is a fun fighter that should hold

UFC Vegas 66 Preview and Vibe-Based Bets

UFC Vegas 66: Cannonier Vs Strickland UFC Vegas 66 Takes Place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, NV on Dec, 17 2022. The Main Event Features Jared Cannonier Taking on Sean Strickland In A Matchup of Elite Middleweights.     The co-main for the card features two of the most promising young talents in the top-15 at lightweight clash when Arman Tsarukyan faces Damir Ismagulov. Fan-favorite Alex Caceres takes on the last guy to get robbed by Paddy prior to Gordon, Julian Erosa. Two fights very likely to have fireworks kick off the card to set the tone. Let's highlight some main-card fights to watch, some prelims that may stand out, and a vibe-based bet slip. Main Card Fights To Watch Arman Tsarukyan Vs Damir Ismagulov     This could go down as Max/Conor's level of fight where two elite prospects face-off and both may still be elite in 5 years. Tsarukyan showed some very slick grappling in the Gamrot fight and had good striking before tiring. Ismagulov has good grappling and very disc

UFC 282 Recap and Betting Results

UFC 282 Recap and Betting Guide Results UFC 282 took place 12/10/22 at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, NV and was headlined by Jan Blachowicz taking on Magomed Ankalaev. It was a card that delivered on nearly all fronts. Excitement? Check. Finishes? Check. Close fights? Check. Even the last two fights of the night, which both ended in controversial judging rather than by finish, were technically (as in the techniques and game plans) interesting at a minimum, and the main event was a great story to see unfold. I’ll release an in-depth article this month on judging criteria using the  Official Rules of Unified MMA , to help us score the fights better ourselves. We will never be in control of the judges, but we are in control of being more informed ourselves. In the meanwhile, let’s go over the bet-slip from the preview, as well as some other stand out fights from the night. Th

UFC 282 Stacked Preview W/ Betting Tips

UFC 282 Event Preview and Betting Slip UFC 282 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, NV this Saturday, Dec. 3rd 2022. Former champion Jan Blachowicz takes on rising contender Magomed Ankalaev for the vacant Light Heavyweight title. Paddy The Baddy brings all the charisma, and Jared Gordon is a fun stylistic matchup for him. Even the late notice fight of Alex Morono versus Santiago Ponzinibbio is a very close fight on paper between two gritty strikers. Another fan-favorite in Darren Till takes on the always entertaining in-cage Drecicus Du Plessis in another stand-up affair. Even the main card opener is a high-level fight between two exciting fighters Bryce Mitchell and Ilia Topuria, but in totally different ways. The prelims have some bangers to get the crowd going as well. Betting wise, I see a lot less value than the ESPN Orlando card last week, but still wagered 3 units instead of usual 5. Let's look a little deeper at some main card fights, as well as some prelim f

UFC Fight Night Thompson Vs Holland Recap

Image
UFC Fight Night: Thompson Vs Holland     UFC Orlando/UFC Fight Night Thompson Vs Holland took place December 03rd, 2022 and was a great card to have on ESPN. The main event ended up being a Fight Of The Year contender, and the start of the card included an amazing comeback to get the crowd going. For myself, it was the first card back where I was able to "research," adequately for a few fights. It paid off as I was able to go 3/3 on straight picks and 1/1 on parlays. You can see my Third-Party tracked results here . There were some major standouts during the event, which means extra on a card that delivered so much. Let's take a took at some fights and what's next for those fighters.     Francis Marshall Vs Marcelo Rojo Marshall showed really sharp boxing in the fight. Not only with the highlight reel finish to stop the fight, but the defense to bait Rojo into throwing without ever being in major danger. It takes a high fight IQ to drop Rojo in the  first after by ma
